The ABCs of the Caribbean Islands

The Leeward Antilles, comprising the idyllic islands of Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao, offer a paradise unlike any other in the Caribbean. Although not in proper geographical order, these westerly islands are located just off the coast of Venezuela in the Caribbean Sea. Visitors are drawn to these islands for their breathtaking white sandy beaches, crystal-clear turquoise waters ideal for snorkeling and diving, and year-round sunny weather. The unique blend of Dutch and Caribbean cultures creates a vibrant atmosphere reflected in the local architecture, cuisine, and colorful street art. Whether you seek relaxation on the beach, exhilarating water sports, exploring desert landscapes, or discovering vibrant coral reefs, the Leeward Antilles have something for every type of traveler seeking a tropical escape.

When to Visit: Mid-January to May are ideal for the ABC islands as the days are sunny, warm and dry.

Who Should Visit: Anyone looking for that luxurious, picturesque Caribbean vacation.

How to Get There and Around: The only way to really get to Aruba, Bonaire or Curacao is by flying directly to the island itself. Once there, you can rent a car, motorbike or use public transport.
