Smack dab in the middle on Central America lies a utopia for wildlife unlike anything you’ve ever seen. That’s right! This week we’re talking about Costa Rica. This otherworldly destination is home to 5% of the world’s biodiversity (as well as one of the world’s happiest countries!) While known for nature and wildlife, what makes Costa Rica unique is also the beautiful cultures and “Pura Vida (pure life)” lifestyle. Costa Rica beckons travelers with its diverse natural landscapes, ranging from lush rainforests and stunning beaches to towering volcanoes and cascading waterfalls. This Central American gem is a paradise for adventure seekers, offering a plethora of outdoor activities such as surfing, zip-lining, hiking, and wildlife watching. Beyond its natural beauty, Costa Rica boasts a vibrant culture and warm hospitality, making it a welcoming destination for visitors from all walks of life. Whether you seek thrilling escapades or tranquil escapes, Costa Rica offers a little something for everyone, promising unforgettable memories and a deep appreciation for the wonders of the natural world.

When to Visit: December thru April is the “ideal” time to visit, as the weather tends to be at its driest and brightest. Although if you’re like us, May and June or November is fantastic to experience “green season”- when the seasons are in transition and national parks are quieter. But to be honest, any time of year will leave you wanting to come back for more.

Who Should Visit: Costa Rica is the ideal destination for clients who want to truly experience all that nature has to offer in the purest of forms.

How to Get There and Around: To get there, flying is your best option. Once there, we recommend renting a car to best explore all the incredible country has to offer.

Fun Fact: Did you know that the White-Tailed Deer is the national animal of Costa Rica? Yeah- not what we would have guessed, either.
