When to Visit: April to May & September to October are the best times to visit to avoid peak heat and the rainy reason. Although the high season of June thru August is second to none for a beach holiday. While November to March is considered the low season, it is a great option for those who don’t mind the potential of rain or shorter museum hours and want to save some money.

Who Should Visit: Portugal is a rich, beautiful country that hold appeal for all. From the active and outdoorsy, to those who prefer to relax and unwind.

How to Get There and Around: We recommend taking advantage of the train or bus. The train is a great way to take in the views while the bus is a quicker way to get to your next destination.


Fun Fact: Portugal is home to one of the world’s oldest Universities- The University of Coimbra which was established in 1290. It is now a UNESCO World Heritage sight with the Royal Palace and Joanine Library open to visitors.
